It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Families are looking into their bank accounts and kids are counting the change in the piggy bank to start Christmas Shopping. Or you’re looking at your bank account
crying remembering the joy of buying the gifts for your loved ones. The holidays are here and it’s personally one of my favorite times of the year. Thanks to the Beauty Blogger Brunch I recently attended, I have Neiman Marcus The Christmas Book in my arsenal!
You may or may not have been seeing the Nordstrom Craze of their annual sale more than you’d care to see. I decided I would hop on the bandwagon and see what I could find amongst the sales…and if they are true sales (I’m talking 75% or more off).
Having natural hair is a great thing when you take care of it. But I have a major frizz problem that gives my braid-outs, twist-outs and more a dullish look. Recently Influenster introduced me to L’Oreal’s RoseMary Collection. Since then I’ve loved the L’Oreal system. I pretty much ditched my Pantene shampoo and conditioner for the EverPure collection. My first try had a nice result. It smelled like Heaven but didn’t really leave my hair moisturized nor did it help my frizz. So I decided to buy the Frizz Defy collection.
Because of a Case BCC Mission
Because of a case started with a goal for helping everyone find their happy case. In more detail, the founders of BCC wanted to help people like themselves who battled with anxiety by providing a colorful, trendy, and fun phone case to keep your mood heightened throughout the day. The first charity they donated to was in support of people suffering from mental health (which makes total sense, because not only do a lot of people suffer from that, the founders did as well). After a while, their customers began mentioning other causes and BCC jumped on the opportunity to select more charities. How awesome is that?
I love it when my blog gets recognition! Who doesn’t love when their work gets noticed and recognized as something worth an award??? I’ve been nominated by Ella at TESTAROSSA.
I’m not going to say this is going to be a constant thing but today, it’s #MakeupMonday. I’m sharing the method I use to clean my makeup brushes and blenders with you.
There is one thing I love and that’s shrimp. If you know me, you know that shrimp is probably my favorite meat of all time. I love to mix different foods together and see how they turn out.
Last week I made shrimp and bacon ramen with a butter sauce and it was probably the best thing I ever made. I decided to make it again this week and share it with you all for a quick, easy, 20 minute or less dinner!
Music is the sound of life. Everywhere you go, you can hear music if you listen close enough. I firmly believe in that. Music literally calms my soul and gives me peace when I can’t find it anywhere else. It could be the sound of rain, the drums of thunder, the shock of lightning…or an actual song. I need it in my life.
I found this challenge on Pinterest and thought it would be a great thing to do! You can get to know me a little better through my taste in music and hopefully you can relate to my reasons and choices!
