I’m here today with a sort of new topic (not really) and it has changed the way I sleep. If you’re like me and have shared quarters, then you may or may not get enough quality sleep.
I know for me personally shared the living room with my family and our dog, Samson, it’s a long shot at getting a good nights rest (especially when you choose to sleep on the couch).

Hello and welcome to November!
This is the month that I like to make all types of tasty treats and dishes. Homemade Chili, Seafood Gumbo (which my family literally has once a year, it’s a tradition of sorts), Beef Lasagna, cakes, sugar cookies, snickerdoodles and more. I also love this month because that means my favorite holiday and my birthday is just around the corner!
I have many great plans for this month and I can’t wait to see them manifest and see their success. But first, a new month means new goals and a recap of last month.
Hello lovelies! I have a new little feature I’m implementing in my Chubby Girl Gets Skinny posts. I am going to start doing different topics related to working out and ONE monthly progress post. For example, this first post will be on what I wear for my workouts. Another post could be about what specific workouts I do (with an accompanying video), while another post will probably be a healthy recipe of some sort.
Sounds fun? I think so! A weekly progress with no progress is no fun and that’s probably why it wasn’t doing so well.
However, I am going to give a small update because I do have a small progress but that will be at the end of this post!
Hello babies! I know I was absent for like an entire week and I truly apologize. I was sick and literally could barely get out of the bed but I am now better and back to business! I missed you all so much!!!!

To live and enjoy life. I want to be healthy but not deny myself of tasty treats. I want to show my family and future children that being healthy is about being confident and doesn’t require you to be a size 0.
I wouldn’t say I had a bad week, I enjoyed this past week! I went to the doctors office for a checkup and found out I am back at 220lbs. I’m confused on this but I’m not letting it get me down because I know for a fact that I am slimming down. I don’t know if it’s muscle or water weight that has brought me back up (or if I’m finally just gaining weight in the right areas) but I refuse to let it get me down. Even my brother notices that I am slimming down so it’s definitely noticeable.
I worked out I think only twice last week. I was busy a lot so I didn’t really get in real workouts. I was active though!
I’m going to keep going. That’s all I can do. It’s working slowly but surely. I am trying not to focus so much on the amount of weight I want to lose, but rather focus on just slimming down and becoming healthier. It’s still a journey and still the beginning but I will get there!
