I finally retrieved my Ipsy sideshow bag from the mailbox and I couldn’t be happier! I actually think I LOVE every item in the bag this time. This post will contain FULL spoilers and my initial thoughts on the products so if you haven’t yet received your bag and want to be surprised when you get yours, save this post for later 🙂
Beauties on Fire, I’m glad to say, is still going so strong. I think it’s been almost a year for us now! This months theme is spring and I’m blooming into spring with this cute pink look! I think you’ll really enjoy this look. There’s a video of the process at the end of the post 🙂
Happy St. Patricks day! Today is like a mini guilty pleasure (?) of mine. I like celebrating it. I don’t do anything special but I do wear green. There is Irish in me after all, it’s only right! Last year for the holiday, I did a makeup tutorial for my YouTube using green as the main element of the look (you’ll be able to watch the video later on in the post). Looking back at the video, there was a lot of cringing and “oh no!” that I made but nevertheless, this post is a comparison of how far I’ve come with my skills and I think I’ve put a pretty good bridge between last year and now.
February has ended and we’re already getting to the second week of March. The first half of the year always going by way too fast. Mid year (August & September for me) goes way too slow and then the holiday months zoom by even quicker! What’s up with that???
Anyways, here are my February beauty favorites!
I received the Fierce Voxbox from Influenster a couple weeks ago. I wanted to try all the products before sharing them with you so I can give honest reviews and opinions.
These products were sent to me free of charge for testing and review purposes.
It’s been a full year and some weeks since I began using makeup. Looking at my old makeup pictures…I’m embarrassed that I even thought they were good
at the time of sharing them of course. I always knew my makeup skills weren’t perfect during the beginning but wow I’ve really come a long way.
Having natural hair is a great thing when you take care of it. But I have a major frizz problem that gives my braid-outs, twist-outs and more a dullish look. Recently Influenster introduced me to L’Oreal’s RoseMary Collection. Since then I’ve loved the L’Oreal system. I pretty much ditched my Pantene shampoo and conditioner for the EverPure collection. My first try had a nice result. It smelled like Heaven but didn’t really leave my hair moisturized nor did it help my frizz. So I decided to buy the Frizz Defy collection.
Yesterday I ran across Macara and Mosh Pits blog post about her recent cream highlighter purchase and review. Her post reminded me of myself when it comes to highlighting and contouring. If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you know that I struggle with highlight and contour. I’m going to give my thoughts and review on NYX Bright Idea Cream Highlighter.
