Boiler Room with Vegas Lifestyle Influencers

The holidays are so close and I’ve been shopping and cooking as of lately. One thing that is new to me for the holidays is going out with friends! I recently attended the Rx Boiler Room located at The Mandalay Bay hotel with the Vegas Lifestyle Influencers to enjoy dips and bites.

Starting the day off was tiring, I had a headache and I honestly didn’t feel like going. However, I had already given my word that I would make it and last minute cancellations are never fun. I opted to wear a black dress with white lace sleeves, a grey and black scarf, black tights, and black boots. Thinking back on my outfit, I wore what mood I was in lol

This isn’t to say that I didn’t have fun with the girls. As soon as I met up with them, my mood picked up as we conversed over the decor and the gear ceiling fan (literally!).

This event was hosted by the Vegas Lifestyle Influencers and Rx Boiler Room. All opinions are my own.

Combining the alchemy of food and drink, Celebrity Chef Rick Moonen showcases his spin on classic comfort food, offering guests a variety of playful creations in small and large plate portions, ideal for a shared dining experience. Paired to elevate and complement the overall experience, the drink menu features an emporium of the finest spirits and innovative libations. Showcasing a playful interior design that defies its new age, Rx Boiler Room offers a modern reflection of the Victorian era, celebrating the steampunk sub-genre often associated with science-fiction and inspired by industrialized Western civilization during the 19th century.

Dips and Bites

The chef had prepared many good bites for the group, but we started off with the Rx Signature Cocktail in skull glasses! I didn’t drink much as I was sporting that headache but I did have a taste. For the food, we enjoyed family style “Devil’s on Horseback” which was made with California dates, blue cheese, smoked bacon, and balsamic glaze, Chicken Pot Pie Nuggets, Buffalo Fried Oysters, Rx Fish Tacos (had a nice spice to each bite!), and bacon wrapped bacon-n-egg. For dessert, we enjoyed Smoked Whiskey & Cola Cake. The dessert was my favorite dish. It featured chocolate devils food cake and cream cheese icing which, honestly, you can never go wrong with!

While there were no sponsors for this event we all still had a lot of fun and it was nice to talk to the girls and mingle over the food!

Thank you, Vegas Lifestyle Influencers and Chef Moonen for putting this together!

Until next time,

  1. So bummed I missed this one! The food looks so bomb. Will have to make a stop there sometime. I think it’s interesting that it’s called “The Boiler Room” and how it’s based on a steam-punk 19th century look, but it’s so random yet fascinating lol! Great post Bri !!! Xo
