It’s heeeeeeeere! The October Spellbound BoxyCharm reveal! Or as I like calling it, the Cast a Spell box.

The BOXYCHARM subscription is a full-sized monthly beauty subscription aimed for the makeup junkie who loves brands of all ranges (high-end, middle range, and affordable products), for a monthly fee of $21, $19.66 for a 3-month subscription,  $19.33 for 6-months, or $19.25 for a 12-month subscription. Each box comes with 4-5 FULL-SIZE products.

Nothing came broken this time! I am so happy to announce that. That isn’t to say the box came perfect because it definitely did not. The products were fine, but the box was perfectly cut open this time. I know, right? It’s one thing after another with Boxycharm and I’m considering ending my subscription with them at the end of the year. Hopefully, they improve. I have decided to cancel my Boxycharm subscription for a few months. I may get back on it in January or I may wait longer, I will keep you updated on my social media!

Now, let’s get into the lovely products themselves!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Prosecco Pop $41.00

Prosecco Pop

This prosecco pop will make you feel like Rihanna, okay? It is a GLOW. Now that I’ve gotten more comfortable with glow/highlight, I promise I am in love with this baby. It blends well and has a soft fragrance to it.

This stuff will put the sun on your face

Dirty Little Secret Eye jumbo crayon in Illusion $14.00

DLS Illusion

Dirty Little Secret left a bad impression on me from its lipgloss but this jumbo eye crayon made a beautiful comeback and changed my mind about the brand. The color is gorgeous and pretty neutral, and it goes perfectly with all skin tones.

Glides on smooth and is a beautiful color for all skin tones

Tarte Tarteist Quick Matte Paint in Pillowtalk $20.00

What is there, honestly, to hate about Tarte? I’ve been a fan of their lip products for a while now and this has joined the family. It isn’t perfect. The formula dries really quick and leaves streaks, but I’m not too bothered by it. The color is gorgeous and with good lip balm under this, it works wonders. A great pop of neutral color.

DR.Brandt PoreDermabrasion $58.00

Okay, so I didnt enjoy the Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator and I’ve yet to try this. I don’t have a problem with pores very often so I don’t see myself using this. Plus, I am already using a lot on my face already for review purposes. #SorryDrBrandt

Jonteblu Lip Liner Pencil $5.00

JonteBlu Lip Liner pencil from Cast A Spell Boxycharm October 2017 Box
The color is much lighter than the pencil shows

This lip liner has gotten some use out of it since I’ve had it. It’s a very neutral color for my skin tone and it shows up lighter than the expected color. The application isnt too smooth and it doesn’t last all day. For rating, I’d give it 3 stars.

Cast a spell boxycharm total: $138!

Heads up: I have canceled my boxycharm subscription for the time being! While I enjoy the products I receive, I have been sent at least 4 defective items in the last few months. If you still want to try Boxycharm for yourself, I would say go ahead but proceed with caution. Do NOT do a 3, 6, or year-long subscription. Try it out for a few months on the monthly plan first and see how it goes for you!

Until next time,

    1. I love the name! And the color is really beautiful! I just wish it applied better. And yeah, no problem! I don’t want to hate on brands but I like being honest with my readers so they know where I’m coming from! Thanks for reading and thanks for the comment!
