Fall is coming very soon and I hope everyone is ready for the season of spice, pumpkin everything, changing colors of leaves and tree, and windy days. I know I’m ready. I probably get too excited when Fall comes because that means cold weather, rain, Halloween, Food Day (yes, I mean Thanksgiving), and Christmas.

Bring on the fall!

You may or may not know but I’m finally adding Fashion into Laqing In Creativity, officially. So I’ve done my homework and found the best trends for Fall (and Winter) this year and I’m starting with: Gingham aka plaid aka “checks.”

5 ways to wear the Gingham Style

If you’re like me and aren’t too big a fan of the gingham style, or you just don’t like wearing a lot of it, I have a short list of how you can sneak it into your style without feeling like a checker board.

1. With denim or a white skirt!

This outfit is actually a cheat with 3 of the 2017 Fall/Winter trends (gingham style, denim, and silver!)

2. Wear as a jacket over bold or neutral colors

Here’s another look I just love. The black leather pants and red pants are also another Fall/Winter trend!

3. Gingham purses and backpacks!

4. Shoes!!!

If you’re a shoe person, I think these are some great picks! Enough gingham style to feel apart of the trend but not too much to feel uncomfortable!

5. Dress up or down as a skirt.

I think this is my favorite way to wear gingham as clothes.
