This was supposed to be out last week, oops. Hello loves! How cute is my new egg friend, Gudetama? He’s featured on the Ipsy July 2017 glam bag and I think he’s too adorable.
Gudetama and I have some reviews and thoughts to share on the Ipsy 2017 Glam Bag Over Easy.
If you don’t know about Ipsy, it’s a beauty sample subscription created by Michelle Phan that features 4-5 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. If you get the monthly subscription, it’s only $10 per month! You do fill out a beauty profile so your hand-picked items arrive to fit your beauty personality!
Gudetama and The Bag
Honestly, he’s so cute and so me. During this summer in Las Vegas, I can tell you I have mentally been in this position for more than the better half of all of May, June, and July…It’s been hot, okay?
I connect with Gudetama on a personal level.
Also, can we appreciate the new booklet that came with this months glam bag?! I love it!
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mandarin Green Orange & Ginger Mongongo Lip Conditioner
The name is a mouthful. I tried this once and I honestly don’t like it at all. It smells like weed…the kind you smoke. What I do like about this, is that it can be used on your hands, a dry nose, cheeks, and of course, your lips. I love makeup and beauty products that are multifunctional.
The conditioner itself is a typical lip balm. Smoothes your lips and hydrates them. I just can’t get over the smell.
COUGAR Beauty Products Liquid Lipstick in Mulberry
I haven’t actually tried this on my lips yet but I have tried a swatch and the color is gorgeous. I do believe this is one of those liquid lipsticks that you only have to swipe once, maybe twice. It dries reliably fast (about a minute or so) and it doesn’t transfer easily, however after a few rubs some color did come off on my finger but the lipstick itself didn’t smudge on my wrist.
Ciate London Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black
This month’s Ipsy glam bag has a pretty decent amount of full-size products! I love the packaging and design of this gel-kohl pencil liner and I’ve been needing a good smudge brush so I’m excited to use this! The pencil itself glides on smooth and is actual wood, so I know it can be sharpened. I can’t tell you how confused I was when trying to sharpen my plastic Real Her lip liner…
OFRA Cosmetics Gold Rush Eyeshadow
This is maybe the only sample, I’m not really sure because it is an eyeshadow so it could very well be full size also. Which means this month’s bag was all full-sized products!
Anyways, getting to the shadow! It’s pigmented, not as buttery as the Electric Eyes Palette from BOXYCHARM but it’s smooth! I would say it’s up to par with other higher-end shadows.
So Susan Blender Brush
You can never go wrong with too many makeup brushes and I’m glad I have this new one in my collection! I love the style of this with the gold plated ends and the plum handle. The brush is exceptionally soft and actually well dense! The pickup on this should be fabulous and I’m going to let you know when I try it out. Make sure to follow me on Instagram for when I do try it!
That’s the bag for Ipsy July 2017! What did you think of the products? Are your products different from mine? What do you think about Cutie Gudetama?
If you aren’t subscribed to Ipsy, I do recommend trying them out as they are one of the best and cheapest beauty subscriptions out there!
