Happy Monday loves! After a very fun and busy weekend, I now have the Cutie Box from BOXYCHARM in full review!
The BOXYCHARM subscription is a full-sized monthly beauty subscription aimed for the makeup junkie who loves brands of all ranges (high-end, middle range, and affordable products), for a monthly fee of $21, $19.66 for a 3-month subscription, $19.33 for 6-months, or $19.25 for a 12-month subscription. Each box comes with 4-5 FULL-SIZE products. I do enjoy this subscription but lately, I’ve been receiving defective items (this box and the June box), so that’s starting to push me away…
The Cutie Box by BOXYCHARM
Electric Eyes Palette by Blinc $45.00
This is my defective item, as you can see. I knew I was getting this item from the BOXYCHARM Instagram page so I was really excited for this. I think Lip products and eye shadow palettes are my favorite beauty products. Unfortunately, upon opening my box, I saw dust in the box and on the outside of this palette. I already knew something was wrong but I wasn’t expecting it to be that broken. Luckily, it was only that color, so I’m still able to use the other four. Boxycharm was nice enough to let me know they will replace this in the August box, but it might not be the same color of shadows…
Overall, I give this 4 stars of rating because the colors are beautiful, buttery, and highly pigmented. Here’s a swatch.
The colors are beautiful and I managed to get all 5 colors swatched!
Ultra-Matte Lip by Colourpop $6.00
Again, I knew I was receiving a color from Colourpop thanks to Boxycharm’s Instagram. I have been wanting to try Colourpop for a while now so I’m really happy I got one in my box. I love the color, I appreciate the formula, and I can’t get over the fact that it was from the Hello Kitty line, the box and style of this are too damn cute! The downside? The smell. I hate it and it smells so weird. The smell actually smells like chemicals. #IsThisNormal?

Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo by bareMinerals $32.00
I was shocked to see a bareMinerals product in this month’s box. Of course, I hear so much about the brand so I was aware of them. I never really cared for trying the products but I didn’t have anything against the brand either. This little powder duo is compact and well-built. It also features a nice sized mirror. I used this in a makeup look I did recently and it held up pretty well. Both powders go on translucent so they hold up to their name.
Overall rating: 5 stars
Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil by WinkyLux $12.00
This product was a fun little surprise. I first thought it was more mascara but then opened it and realized it was an eyebrow pencil and brush. The packaging is so cute. The color I have is a darkish brown, maybe a bit too dark for my brows. The overall use and quality of this are really great though.
Overall rating: 4 stars
Spray. Set. Go. Makeup Setting Spray by Project Beauty $32.00
First time hearing about Project Beauty but I can tell this brand is of really great quality. I love the size and sleekness of the packaging and the bottle. I also used this in the makeup look I mentioned and it held up well. I hope to do a comparison for you with the Maybelline Setting Spray soon.

The total of the Cutie Box from BOXYCHARM: $127!
Paying only $21 for the box and receiving products worth over $100 is a steal in my book! If you don’t have a BOXYCHARM subscription yet, I do recommend trying it. Just be wary with the care of the products. Again, so far, I’ve only received two defective items and I’ve been with Boxycharm since April.
What did you get in your boxycharm? What do you think of the products?
