Hello! I am back and so happy to be writing again. I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve written anything other than numbers and account names. I’ve been meaning to review my Ipsy Summer Friday May 2017 glam bag for the longest but of course, homework has kept me from doing so.

When the Ipsy Summer Friday glam bag was revealed I knew I was mostly excited for the bag itself. It’s so adorable and perfect for the coming summer and road trips on my agenda. I am really loving the red lipstick I received in this months Ipsy May glam bag so let’s get right into the reviews.
Ipsy Summer Friday Glam Bag
I am so in love with this cute little bag. It’s so perfect for the summer with the cute ice cream graphic print. I also love that it’s clear, as you can take it with you while traveling, put your contents in and I’m pretty sure it’s TSA safe, as a bag. We will see when I go on my trip to Ohio in June! I’m taking this with me to keep my shower products separate from my other liquids.
Pixi Silky Eye Pen by Petra
Around mid-May, all I saw on IG was Pixi brand running a campaign and all bloggers, except me, had in on it. I won’t lie, it made me curious. I love trying new things so I kind of felt left out. Nonetheless, Ipsy came through and delivered this baby to me. I was happy to get a taste of this brand. My first use, I tried this on my top lash line, which I shouldn’t have done. I’m so used to liquid liner now that this was way too chunky and difficult to get a smooth, straight line on top. So word of advice, don’t use it on the top if you’re used to liquid. However, I love it for my bottom lash line! The pigment is very black. It shows up really well on the eyes. The texture is really smooth and feels good to apply.
This retails on the Pixi Beauty site for $6.00.
Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in Sin
I knew what to expect from this sample from my Ipsy Summer Friday glam bag because I received a sample of this from Sephora a few weeks earlier. I have no problems with this though because this highlighter is so beautiful and one of the easiest highlighters to apply. The sample size from both Sephora and Ipsy are the same, which are really tiny. What you see in the picture provided is literally what you get.
I’m shocked at how long this lasts though. Of course, the usage will be different for everyone but I have used this about 3 maybe 5 times so far, and I used a couple swipes per use. I have yet to even brush the top layer away. So I’m hoping these samples will last me a few months, in all honesty. I will update you on my IG or Twitter when I run out, so make sure you’re following!
The full size retails on Urban Decay for $26.00.
Jelly Pong Pong Supercharged Super Intense Eyeshadow Duo in Electric
Okay, this is full size ( 0.07oz/2g). I was actually surprised when I checked the official site and saw that this is full size. Yes, it’s an eyeshadow so I don’t expect too big of a size, however…the price is actually ridiculous. Duo or not. This size retails for $22.95. For two eyeshadows. I just don’t understand the pricing.
This isn’t to say I don’t absolutely love this eyeshadow duo because I absolutely love it. I just won’t pay full price for this. The texture is really smooth and creamy. Though I did have to wet my brush to get the pigment to stick to the brush and show up on my eyes. Once I did that, the pigment was beautiful. Here’s a picture of me with the eyeshadow on.
And here’s a swatch of the eyeshadows
Again, this retails on the Jelly Pong Pong website for $22.95.
trèStiQue Mini Matte Lip Crayon in Tuscan Wine
Upon first look at this, I didn’t think I would fall in love with the color, but I have. It seems lately every red I get is the ‘perfect’ red. No. This crayon is the perfect red. It’s a great mix of a dark red and a bright red and it fits my skin tone so well. The finish is matte, the formula also provides a lot of moisture for my lips. I never deal with dry lips when wearing this. The cons of this are that it is transferrable, a little too transferrable, and it doesn’t stay on long. For Memorial Day, I wore this with my Real Her Deep red lip liner. I put the lip color on around noon, had one BBQ rib around 2 pm, and had to completely reapply the lip crayon. The lip liner from Real Her was still there so it wasn’t the food.
Here’s a picture of how it looks on me.
This retails for $28.00 on the trèStiQue website.
Beauty & Pin-Ups Fearless Hair Rescue Masque
So honestly, I haven’t used this product yet. I kept forgetting about it when I would wash my hair. I will use it this week for wash day and update you on my social media on how it goes. I haven’t even opened this yet so I can’t give an honest review on it.
What did you think of the Ipsy Summer Friday glam bag? Did you receive different products/shades than me?
