I just bought a few things from Target and wanted to share my purchases with you!

I hate going to Target because I always end up buying something and my wallet hates me for it. This shopping experience was no different. I knew I wanted to look at the dollar section because it’s my favorite section, but I didn’t expect to find the E.L.F. illuminating Palette there too! That was a great buy and I’m excited to use it.
Target Haul Buys
These are just a few of the things I bought. If you really want to know all that I bought, two board games (one which I’m taking back) and a Fitbit Charge 2 leather strap…that I’m also taking back 🙂 Those are not pictured.
Dollar section sticky notes!
Whenever I go to the dollar spot in Target, I automatically look for stationary finds and I’m so glad I ran across these. The colors are very beachy to me, however the ‘dreams’ theme just caught my heart. I’ve been loving pretty much anything with ‘dreams’ on it lately.
NYX Soft Matte lip cream in Monte Carlo
So, apparently I’m taking this one back. The color isn’t opaque like I thought it was, it’s also not really a matte. It’s more of a strong mix of matte and gloss. The ‘berry’ color is very vivid, however, which for me, didn’t work out.
E.L.F. Illuminating Palette
Saving the best for last is never a bad thing. After receiving the Marc Jacobs Coconut Glow gel highlighter (complimentary from Influenster ), I wanted to finally jump further into the world of strobing, highlighting, glowing, whatever you wanna name it. If you remember my first highlighter the NYX Bright Idea illuminating stick, I didn’t have a good experience with that. The Marc Jacobs coconut glow is a fantastic highlighter but for beginners, it might be a bit difficult to apply. So I saw the E.L.F. Illuminating palette online as ‘beginner (and budget!) friendly’ highlight and I am not disappointed! All colors show up really well and are actually beautiful shades, I just might use them all. My favorite are the top left and bottom right. Those colors are gorgeous.
Here’s a swatch of them for better viewing purposes!
From top to bottom: white (top left), pink (top right), beige (bottom left), tan (bottom right). It did take some dips in the powders to get the effects on my arm so they do require some buildup. However, the result is so beautiful and amazing I really don’t mind. I had to dip into the powders about 2-3 times for each color.
