Recent Purchases

“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.”

Yeah. Today is one of those days. I didn’t plan for today specifically (Don’t ask me why, I have no idea) and I’m struggling to think of what to blog about. So I decided to just share my recent purchases with you all. I found some really great deals!

Disclaimer: I am in no way attempting to brag about my purchases (I’m a frugal student who’s self-employed, I don’t have any right to brag, let’s be honest). I am just simply sharing what I found on sale. This post DOES contain affiliate links (to Amazon purchases), which means if you buy from the link I provide, I get a small percentage, at NO EXTRA COST to you. Face Masks

I bought this at my local Wal-Mart for $3.27, I also bought the Freeman Feeling Beautiful Charcoal & Black Sugar polishing mask for also $3.27. I’ve tried both and I REALLY love the Charcoal & Black Sugar scrub. I don’t consider it a mask because…it’s not really a mask (it’s more of a mess than a mask) but it’s definitely a scrub and whenever I use it, my face always feels so soft and looks bright and refreshed! The Avocado mask is an actual mask. It dries as a mask and you’re gonna be pleading for nothing funny or shocking to happen so you don’t have to move your face, because wow I thought of something funny after this dried and my mask was cracked all around my mouth and cheeks, which just made me laugh harder. So it’s fun for a beauty night!

I didn’t like, however, how the avocado mask left my face dry, and a slight hue of green on my face (it went away as soon as I put on my moisturizer). Other than that, I like it and I will use it again. It does clean!

Target Dollar Section

Okay, well…the Valentine stickers and the candle were from the dollar section. But! The pens and the planner stickers were so cute I couldn’t pass them up. I honestly just bought the pens because they are cute, but I’m so thankful I actually love the way they write as well! The pens were about $8, for the set.

Highlighter by NYX

I finally found some highlight (that isn’t eyeshadow) and it looks pretty darn good on me! I haven’t done a look with it yet but make sure you subscribe to the blog for when I do! I’ll give a deeper review on it. This was about $8 from Target.

iPhone Camera Lens set & Marble Sticky Paper

(These links ^^^ are affiliate links)

I actually got these purchase suggestions from Nicole and I’m so thankful for her because I have been looking for marble paper for the longest. Both purchases are under $15 which is really a steal! The above picture is actually taken with my iPhone and the Fish Lens attached. Isn’t a beautiful photo? I was shocked by how great the lens are. If I can find other lens from the seller, for my iphone, I’m definitely picking them up. Getting lenses for your phone camera (if you don’t have a DSLR that you can work/love) is a great alternative, and so much cheaper, than getting a new DSLR or camera in general. #BloggerTips

Sears outfit

I honestly am in LOVE with this Simply Emma jacket. It was only pink one left and it was on sale for….$21.99. YES I grabbed so quick. No second thoughts needed. The jeans were on sale for $7.99 and the shirt, also Simply Emma, was the most expensive purchase at $24.00 but it was also on sale. The original prices for the clothes: Jacket $58.00, Shirt $40.00, Jeans $18.

Thank you so much for reading this and for sticking with Laqing In Creativity!
