Are you one of those people who feel like they need to have a cozy blanket, some tea or hot chocolate, the fireplace, and a really good book during the cold season? So am I.

I made it a goal to get back into reading this month and I’m happy to say that I’ve started! I downloaded a few books yesterday from BookBub (really great resource for free and cheap books) and from my Amazon Kindle First Books and among the lists of books I downloaded, I picked Revelation by Randi Cooley Wilson.

I decided to go with Revelation because I like books about angels, dark angels, fallen angels…supernatural stuff basically. I read another book about a fallen angel who fell in love with the woman he was supposed to protect, I can’t remember the name nor find the book (it’s probably in our storage container), but it was a good book. I bought the second and third volume.

I hope this book will be just as good.

Excerpt from GoodReads.com (the book is free on Amazon as I write this)

A divine secret

A loyal protector

A forbidden love

Eve Collins starts her freshman year at college blissfully unaware that one revelation will challenge everything she’s believed to be true about her family, life, and future, and right in the midst of it all is Asher St. Michael. Mysterious and aloof, Asher is appointed to protect Eve at all costs. Bound by his oath of loyalty to mankind, loving her is forbidden. Dark and enigmatic, Gage Gallagher may be even more dangerous to Eve than the demonic army that hunts her. Caught in the middle of a centuries old war, Eve must choose sides knowing that the wrong choice will cost more than just her life.

Why did I choose this book? It’s something about angels and dark angels that catch my curiosity. Again, I am a pretty big supernatural fan. I also am interested in whether or not the layout of the story will be the same as most books with a male forbidden love interest being a female lead. I hope the details are good enough to keep my attention throughout the book. If I finish the book, they’ll be a review on it early next month along with February’s book of the month (and maybe a new tea).

My current favorite tea is Celestial Seasonings Peppermint Tea.

I do not own this!

It’s aroma is literally peppermint and it just makes the day feeling like holidays for me! It soothes and calms me as well. I definitely recommend this if you can find it!

What book are you currently reading? Do you have any book recommendations for me? I’d love to hear them!
